I know right... The article says "The potential uses of the building include, but are not limited to a restaurant, wine tasting room, wine shop, urban winery, distillery, urban market, events space and a residential unit.", which is just so limiting.
That part of the downtown just got 3-tower development project (Water by the Park) going and changed the downtown so much already, how is the building next to it only allowed 4 storeys...
Dang, that would have been really cool for downtown!

Unfortunately, again, it didn't go anywhere and was canceled. This is very disappointing.

Ugh, the lawsuit coming in. Very expected, but might hurt the project. Also 2 level parkade is a huge stepback. It's all a biggest story of Okanagan development for eays to come, but I still hope the positive outcome in the end.

Based on the new photos, the tower is at least 12 storeys, maybe 13. Which makes it the tallest tower on the west side of the lake! Wooohoo.

Isn't there any solutions to reducing the noise produced from the sport? I personally love playing pickleball and it seems like a fun amenity to have.
FYI, the largest pickle ball courts in a residential location in Victoria has just been shut down do to extensive noise complaints.

Officially announced parking is shortened from 4 to 2 levels, and the UBC Trust is looking into alternative parking near the campus.

I definitely didn't see any piling happening, also it was quiet on the news regarding the progress. So I am not sure what is the next step here.
But well, at least it's in progress, I was a bit afraid when they "paused" that it would be frozen for a while.
One72 Concretes Instagram story(as of May 1) has footage of a big pour so it appears the backfill is done? Not sure if they are going to drive piles through all the backfill and concrete unless they did that before they started filling, anybody know?

I guess as they get higher the floors will get smaller and construction will move faster?
Steady speed of 1 poor in 2 months. Level 7 on the south tower. Cladding in progress for levels 1-4.
