Forty-two townhomes approved for KLO Road corner

Forty-two townhomes at the southwest corner of KLO Road and St. Amand Road were approved Monday by Kelowna city council.

Yes, I believe so, the rest are standard 6 stories.

It would be nice to see more mass timber builds between 7-12 stories, i think the Capstone building on Benvoulin is the only one in Kelowna so far?

I am also wondering if soil there any better, to dig for underground parkades?

As their development permit expired, they re-submitted the application on Jan 8, 2025.

Changes compared to the Sep 22, 2022 submission:
- Amount of units changed from 204 to 210, here are some details:
studio: 2 > 12
1 bedroom (/+den): 122 > 99
2 bedrooms (/+den): 62 > 92
3 bedrooms: 18 > 7
Reduction in Parking: 235 > 166

Also, they added a community and green space on the roof of the buildings (photos added to the gallery)
